What is it the DXFX? The ‘F’ in DXFC stands for ‘Feet’: countries in which you have stepped foot. I love this way to approach DX, because the human side is the part I always prefer. My score is public on the pages of DXFC.org website, but here there are few pictures of my recent QRV points.

The Island of Rodrigues really touched my heart. It was a real success in terms of QSO, If I cmpare it with other activities I did in the past. I really enjoyed the island and the people there.

During a the way-back ffrom Hamradio 2009, my copilot and I stopped in HB0. After a long drive we found a chairlift. We look us into the eyes and decide to jump on. On the air at 2002 mts upon the seal level. A bit cold in june but was ok.

The Vienna International Center has a very nice radio club. I had the oportunity to feel the warm hospitality of the menagers of that club. I also enjoied a very nice lunch with them in Vienna.

I was guest of Laura, 3A2MD. She has a B&B in Monaco and I was there with my wife for a long week-end of relax. I also visited the local radio association IARU affilieted and met several local dxers.

I have a great friend in Andorra. He is Salvador, C31CT. It was a pleasure have him in several activation. He’s one of the most professional mate during a dxpedition. I visited Andorra with Simone, IZ8BTV. It was a long grat trip. One of the best of my life. I discovere the mountain’s view from there: simply great!

There was the war in January 2009. And I was there my some fellows to operate as E44M. It was a great experience and I learned a lot from that radio adventure.

Thanks to Paul, )h1SP another point for DXFC was reached. I did 400 QSO with a great opening to North Amerca: KH6, KL7, and several VE and W7-W6 in the log. Good for August, usually propagation was not to generous at the bottom of the cycle.

1A4A, Sovereign Military Order of Malta

Tho get the licence of 1A4A was the most amazing adventure I ever had in my hamateur radio life. it was not only for amateur radio, but beacause that event was a milestone in my life. I had more than pile-up and activity on the air from SMOM. I letterally discover a treasure.

HV5PUL, Vatican City State

My first QRV from the Vatican City State was around 1998. I had this possibility thaks to my best friend that was student at the PUL. I became real friend of Luca, IW0DJB and we discover we have more in common that just the radio. So I had the oportunity to transmit from there several time, with several team. I always had great fun.

T70A, San Marino Republic

The first time I operate from T7 was in the 90′s using the callsing T71SM. It was a Special Event Station for a local trade show. But since June 2006 the friendship with ARRSM grow a lot and I can said that T7 is my second home (home, not QTH! Home is better!)

4U1UN, United Nations HQ, NYC

July 1997 – With My father and W6TER at the United Nations HQ. Was my first huge pile-up to manage. Also today, if I think about it, I’m not able to explain how I was able to transmit from there. It was really amazing, an indelible memory.
